Storelli facing soccer’s biggest issue Head-on!

Even a friendly game between sisters requires some protection, it’s all fun and games, so lets not get hurt!
This post is sponsored by Storelli, but the content and opinions expressed here are my own. Note: The Exoshield HeadGuard was specifically designed to provide protection against impact to the head and to reduce the incidence of cuts and bruises to covered areas. Although third-party testing confirms that the Exoshield HeadGuard significantly reduces the force of impact to covered areas, there is no conclusive data showing that the ExoShield HeadGuard prevents concussions, which can result from a combination of factors including, direct impact to the head.

We really love the Storelli ExoShield Head Guard, the girls can still wear their favorite hair styles while playing and protecting themselves.

Okay I think their friendly game just turned into a bunch of fun with no rules. Okay not quite a game of soccer but at least they’re protected!

But what a beautiful sunset we had as the fun ended and it was time to head back home to finish our Thanksgiving holiday.

Be sure to check out the Storelli Exosheild Head Guard video!

Still hanging in here!

Heading into week 4 without of belongings, I knew moving long distance was rough, we did it once before.
I really had hoped using a moving company would make it easier.
But instead it’s been almost a month and our stuff has yet to arrive. That’s 5 1/2 weeks or life has been in boxes.
On the flip side I’ve had plenty of time to work on the house, especially since we bought a fixer upper. Feels a bit like camping but with air conditioning and bathrooms.
Definitely a chance for us to figure out what things we really need in life.
Our top must haves are:
Washing machine (clean clothes, please)
Pokemon cards (that’s if you’re a 10 year old boy)
Beds (across the board, we all miss them!)
and the refrigerator
(though the kids are enjoy not having a freezer, just means we have to eat all the ice cream at once)
….10 more days to go!!! (I hope)

Scavenger Hunt Sunday

{SH} Sundays #28

Happy Sunday! It really is now that I’m finished painting our kitchen cabinets and can take a break from all the home renovations for the afternoon.

The Small Things

My girls really get into playing with their Lalaloopsy minis and using my phone to photograph them.

Stream had drawn these illustrations of chicks flying in for her great-uncles birthday, it’s too cute and the chicks are cut out of paint chip swatches.

Just having a little fun with Luna’s long hair.

Work of Art

when my 12 year old makes a birthday card she goes all out, this creation took over 6 hours.

Window Beauty
the snow is stuck to all the trees, it’s so beautiful to look out of from my kitchen window. The kitchen I’ve been remodeling for 3 weeks. I can’t wait to show the big reveil it turned out great but I’m exhausted after putting in 8 hour days with all the DIY projects.

Moving Day

Today I am recovering from heat exhaustion, again.
The usual hot one minute, chills the next and to top it off it’s officially moving day.
In the past I’ve been pregnant, recovering from bronchitis, the flu or mending a broken rib when we move
so I guess it would have been nice strange not to have some sort of affliction today.
It will be nice to settle in and then head off the visit friends and family for a much need break.
And I”ll be looking for someone to babysit Stream’s pet fish Mr. Finn while were gone,
don’t tell her I almost forgot.

Sing a Song

I’m not going to try and pretend I can sing, there’s 7 billion that I’d rather hear. This definitely hits the right note when it comes to how many of us judge ourselves hard than we would our neighbors but I can’t help myself when it comes to my favorite Sesame Street song from the 1970’s, so you just might catch me happily singing in the car sounding quite awful.
